

Petr Reif is an actor, presenter and musician from Brno. He began working in theatre at the age of sixteen at Studio Dům, based at Divadlo Husa na provázku, under the guidance of Eva Tálská. After graduating from secondary school, he studied acting at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at DAMU. Both during and after his studies, he appeared on many stages, including Studio Ypsilon, Divadlo Minor, A Studio Rubín, Divadlo Archa, Spitfire Company, Studio Hrdinů, HaDivadlo, the National Theatre in Prague, Divadlo D21, Komorní činohra, Divadlo Komedie and Divadlo Drak in Hradec Králové.
In 2009, he co-founded Divadlo Bufet and created the original project AUTBUF, a travelling cultural space in a Karosa bus that toured the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In addition to drama theatre, he has long been involved in music. He performed with the band Střídmí klusáci v kulisách višní, is a member of the rock band Rozbal to, and is also involved in Forum Theatre.
Since 2024, he has been a member of the acting ensemble of Divadlo pod Palmovkou, where he appears in the productions Pygmalion, By the Bog of Cats and the rap musical Night of Broken Nails.
His life path has been varied and includes many unconventional experiences: he worked as an educator at Kociánka, an institution for children with physical disabilities, spent a year as an au pair in the USA, briefly worked as a cleaner at a multiplex cinema in San Diego, and in Brno also worked as a lighting technician at Divadlo Radost. According to him, these experiences are reflected in his acting work as well.
